What is glucosamine?
Glucosamine is a natural compound found in healthy cartilage, extracted from shrimp shell. It plays a crucial part in maintaining the integrity of the cartilage and of all articulations in the body.

Matol Glucosamine (sulphate glucosamine), assimilable at 98%, is enhanced with Devil's Claw (botanical), Methyl Sulfonyl Methane (MSM) and collagen hydrolysate (fish). It can help replace and restore the proper balance of glucosamine in your body to ensure healthy connective tissue.

Why take Matol glucosamine?
Matol Glucosamine is particularly beneficial for people with aching joints and arthritis. It is also recommended for people without aching joints, as a preventive measure, at a lower dosage than as recommended on the bottle.

Is Matol Glucosamine appropriate for chronic pain?
That depends on the severity of the deterioration of connective tissues in the body.

What is the recommended dosage?
One (1) tablespoon, three times a day, to be taken preferably before or with meals, for people suffering from aching joints and arthritis. As a preventive measure, one (1) tablespoon per day is sufficient.

People on medication should take their Matol Glucosamine two (2) hours before or 4 (four) hours after their medication, preferably with food, or as recommended by their physician.

According to the recommended dosage on the label, a Distributor/Customer would have to buy 2.7, or three bottles of Matol Glucosamine, in order to follow the recommended dosage on the label. Is that correct?
Yes.

Are there any contra-indications to glucosamine as a supplement?
Pregnant and breast-feeding women, as well as people who have shellfish or fish allergies should not take Matol Glucosamine. As well, diabetics should consult their doctor, prior to use, as it may affect their glycemic reading.

If on medication, Matol Glucosamine should be taken two (2) hours before or four (4) hours after, preferably with food, or as recommended by their physician.

Are there any side effects associated with glucosamine?
Too much glucosamine could irritate the stomach.

Do you have any suggestions to enhance the taste of Matol Glucosamine?
Yes, with your orange juice or any other juice.
